History of a Talent : Bayrem, CSV Engineer

Hello Bayrem, can you introduce yourself?

I am 32 years old and I come from Dahmani in Tunisia, and I am crazy about reading and travelling!

I chose to come to France to work with big companies on innovative projects and to take on new professional challenges.

What is your professional and academic background?

I started my academic journey with a BAC+5 degree in industrial computer engineering.

Since then, I have had several jobs that have allowed me to acquire a rich and diversified professional experience. I was a Software Developer for 2 years, IT Manager and IS Validation for 5 years and for the last 7 months I have been a CSV Consultant.

Tell us more about your job!

I usually supervise the validation of the SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), as well as the periodic review of the computer systems used in the scope of medical devices (editor's note: a medical device is an instrument, device, equipment or software intended by its manufacturer to be used in humans for diagnosis, prevention, control, treatment, mitigation of a disease or injury...)

I am currently working for an anywr.life client, Amplitude Surgical in Valencia, and my main daily tasks are the following:

• Drafting and review of URS (User Requirement Specification) /FDS (Functional Design Specification)

• Identification of risks,

• Preparation of qualification protocols,

• Assisting users in the development of test sheets,

• Review of computer systems used by the client

• Ensure compliance with quality standards: GAMP5 , 21 CFR part 11

What do you prefer in your job?

What I like the most is first of all the principal focus of the mission: SAP is the number one ERP in the sector and this contributes to increasing my skills and experience in ERP validation (previously, I worked on SAGE X3). In addition, the working environment is very pleasant and comfortable.

If you had any piece of advice to give to someone willing to do this job?

If you have a passion and/or talent for IT and want to work in the healthcare sector, this could be the most exciting career path for you.

What are your plans for the future?

I would like to participate in other projects in the field of CSV and thus explore the different technologies applied in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry in order to develop my expertise.
